Founded in 2004, Event Accomplished LLC is an award winning event planning, design, and management company based in Arlington, Virginia, serving Washington, DC, Northern Virginia and select Maryland areas for corporate and non-profit events, weddings, and life events. We are known for creating relaxed, fun, subtle and customized events. Through thoughtful planning and exceptional execution, we will help you put together an event with a style distinctively your own. Mission Statement

Our mission is to help individuals and companies create memorable events that reflect their desire to celebrate something significant. For businesses, we provide event management expertise to help them use events to achieve a business objective. For individuals, our goal is to make the event planning process easier, more efficient, less stressful and more fun and enjoyable. We are all about balance: extensive logistics planning processes with creativity; focused and organized exceptional execution yet totally fun.

  1. Integrity – never do anything that you wouldn’t want published on the front page of the Washington Post/New York Times.
  2. Teamwork – we’re only as good as our ability to work as a team with our professional partners in achieving the ultimate goal of making our clients happy
  3. Open and Direct Communication – with our clients, our partners. Talk early and often. Be open and honest. Little can be gained from beating around the bush.
  4. Responsive –  acknowledging that you heard your clients is a simple gesture that says they are important to you
  5. Flexible and adaptable. Plan the work and work the plan; but we remain flexible for the unexpected. Embrace new ways of doing things. Never buy into “that’s how we’ve always done it” method.
  6. Client-focused: it’s not about us. It’s about our clients and their reason for hosting an event. There is no room for self-serving actions or intentions.

My job as an event planner is to get you back to what you do best: your job - whether it's being an engaged host at your private celebration; or focusing on your primary responsibilities at your company.
Prior to becoming an event planner, I had nearly a decade of experience managing project schedules and costs on engineering and construction projects worldwide; as well as business and proposal development. I have a Masters degree in Business Administration with a concentration in entrepreneurship/small business and event management from the George Washington University and a Bachelors degree in engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. Why does that matter? Having an analytical mind to problem solve and an understanding of what businesses value give me a unique perspective on event planning.
Born in Hong Kong and raised in New York, I have lived in the Washington, DC area since 1996 and currently residing in Arlington, Virginia with my husband John and two rescue cats Rocky and Andy.

Our Team

Jennifer Briley Dannaher | Event Coordinator

Jen’s experience as a former assistant principal at a preschool means that she knows how to bring order to chaos, an important skill for a wedding coordinator. Her ability to adapt in changing environments and to work in teams also serve her well at both weddings and corporate events. She has excellent organizational skills, is extremely prepared, and has a proactive attitude – all traits that will ensure that your event is a success! Jen holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from George Mason University and lives in Herndon, Virginia with her husband Patrick and their two daughters.
