Waterfront Park along the Potomac River in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia was a great find for a wedding ceremony. You don’t have the crowds and pedestrian traffic that you get along the boardwalk side, and still have the view of the Potomac River without much obstructions. I loved how the glow sticks exit turned out, don’t you? This is the second time we’ve used glowsticks successfully at a wedding for a grand exit. Check out this wedding where we used glowsticks and other ideas for exits.
Tip: This wedding was held in September during the weekend of the Alexandria Arts Festival in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia. Traffic and parking can be challenging so be sure to plan according for your guests and your vendors.
