When our clients first talked about their wedding, they originally wanted to have their wedding reception at a winery. After much consideration, they decided against that idea. For the rehearsal dinner therefore, we decided to be inspired by the elements of a winery with centerpieces filled with grapes and vines in wood boxes. Also, the groom loves to play poker. So we said, why not? Mix them together! The table numbers, escort and place cards were inspired by a poker chip design. You’ve got to check out the poker inspired groom’s cake below. The guests, many from overseas, enjoyed a spectacular view of the DC skyline at the W Hotel’s POV Terrace, followed by a scrumptious dinner. Enjoy the photos! Vicky
