Brief: Excella Consulting, an Arlington, VA based company, engaged us to plan this annual Client Appreciation event as the company matured and grew. The event concepts needed to be more sophisticated but still reflecting the fun company culture.
Concept: Since we chose to host the event at the Artisphere for the first year, we ran with the idea of ‘art’ as the overarching style. That year’s focus was on showcasing the company and its employees – more internally focused. We branded the event in the company’s colors throughout the decor and lighting scheme. We set up the dinner display in the shape of an X as it is often used in the company’s collateral. The graphic design had a brush stroke motif.
In the second year, the event was more externally focused with the theme of “making IT better with you,” the company’s clients and how Excella help them make an impact for their respective customers. This year’s event logo featured talking bubbles, as the event has always been about people connecting, and we branded the event with the company’s alternate color palette for a brighter look.
