Community Festival

Brief: As the annual Merrifield Fall Festival, held at the Mosaic District in Fairfax, Virginia, continued to grow, EDENS (which developed and owns Mosaic), brought us on board to partner and to assist the Greater Merrifield Business Association in presenting this community event.

Concept: For this 7-hour festival, we had two entertainment stages with 9 acts and a Fitness Zone with demonstrations; and over 70 vendors and businesses tents. For children, we had a Kids Zone filled with activities like face painting, balloon artists, a rock climbing wall, a caricature artist, pony rides, petting zoo, Lego building, and pumpkin painting. The beer garden was a huge hit. Our team brought new entertainment options for children and adults; increased the reliability of the electrical supply to the event; improved communication with participating businesses and sponsors; formalized the social media marketing plan for the event; and bolstered the operations of the event. As a result, the 13th edition of this festival had the highest guest attendance in its history and had a record number of participating vendors and businesses.
