Slide rock concert inspired name badges corporate event

Brief: As the company continues to grow, the need to fill requisitions has become a challenge. Participating in area job fairs in the Washington, DC area was not enough to really showcase the company. By hosting this private recruiting event, prospective employees got the opportunity to meet the management team and other employees, and speak more in depth with service area leaders in their area of expertise. The event also allowed them to get a feel for the company culture. Event Accomplished was brought on board to design and coordinate this corporate recruiting event in a challenging restaurant space.

Concept: We decided to use the theme of a rock concert as the style guide for the event. We wanted the prospective employees to feel like rock stars: using a red carpet as they approached the event, volunteers wore t-shirts with the company logo, lanyards held badges that said VIP Access, signage designed to look like concert posters. The company’s in-house rock band entertained the attendees.
