What I remember most about this Washington, DC wedding at the Carnegie Institute of Science, was how happy the couple was the whole day. They couldn’t stop smiling from the minute I saw the bride getting ready until the end of the night. Despite the heat and humidity of a summer day, there was a lot of love and happiness in the air. Loved this constellation wedding stationery set from Minted
A moody church
I loved the way they looked at each other during the ceremony. Good get, Nat!
Let’s talk about this cake. Ben, the groom, baked this cake himself. Normally, I would strongly discourage a client from baking his own wedding cake but Ben is a seasoned baker. He reassured me that he would practice and he did do several trial runs assembling this cake. Inspired by Lord of the Rings, the cake turned out pretty good! Impressive!
The majestic columns on the portico of the Carnegie Institute always make a beautiful photograph
They looked liked they were haven’t fun dancing, don’t they?
