Inspired by the Mexican celebration of Day of the Dead (Dia de los Muertos), we planned a colorful marketing luncheon for a corporate client in Washington, DC, showcasing the venue (Mexican Cultural Institute) and the client’s offerings.
All photos by Deb Lindsey.
We welcomed guests with a Grapefruit and Smoked Tequila Temptress cocktail.
Using sugar skulls as containers, Petals Edge Floral Design of Alexandria, Virginia, created several creative designs.
We were inspired by Mexican loteria cards in creating the place cards, which were personalized to each attendee. Color papel picados drove the design direction for the menu cards, all designed by Emily Baird Design.
I loved the papel picados, which created a pop of color tied to the back of the black chairs.
