Last week, I shared with you the story of one of our summer weddings in Washington, DC last year where the original wedding reception venue had an electrical outage due to a problem with the power company. We had to find a new venue. Here are the photographs from that wedding.
You can see in these photographs by Dreamworks Photography that everyone had fun and you cannot tell this was not the original plan.

To honor their Italian and Chinese heritage, the original wedding reception menu was going to serve both cuisines. Since we had to move venues and couldn’t replicate the original menu, one of the remnants of this fusion wedding was the wedding favors with Italian almonds and Chinese fortune cookies.
